MARCO MACI è un WINEMAKER di fama Internazionale che, in oltre 30 anni di attività, ha elevato l’eccellenza vitivinicola nel mondo, diventando innovativo punto di riferimento per la comunità di appassionati del “bere bene”.

La missione è quella di portare sulle tavole di tutto il mondo un vino eccezionale, creato ad arte attraverso il perfezionamento ed il controllo diretto di tutta la filiera produttiva: dalla selezione delle uve alla macerazione, dalla fermentazione all’imbottigliamento.

Marco Maci è riconosciuto tra i piu’ famosi Winemaker al mondo.

Ad oggi ha vinto, oltre al riconoscimento come miglior cantina al Vinitaly 2011: 414 premi (di cui 110 assoluti e 105 medaglie d’oro) nelle principali manifestazioni Internazionali, quali ad esempio il Concour Mondial de Bruxelles, il CWSA, il Wine Chateau, etc.

Oltre alla produzione diretta dei propri vini con il brand MM SCAVIA, offre a cantine di tutto il mondo la propria arte attraverso l’esclusivo ed unico “Metodo Marco Maci ®”.

MARCO MACI nasce nel 1967 a Brindisi, in mezzo ai vigneti di famiglia.

Inizia ad appassionarsi al vino fin da piccolo, assimilando i segreti del mestiere dal padre e dal nonno, che aiuta in tutte le attività dell’azienda, dalla vigna alla cantina.

Nel corso degli anni, con intraprendenza ed entusiasmo, è direttamente coinvolto in tutte le fasi del processo produttivo, che non smetterà piu’ di innovare.

Il forte spirito imprenditoriale lo spinge ad iniziare, appena maggiorenne, la missione che tutt’ora persegue: elevare il settore vitivinicolo e portare nel mondo l’eccellenza del vino Italiano.

In pochi anni porta l’azienda di famiglia tra le prime 7 cantine in Italia, per dimensione ed importanza.

Da sempre concentra la propria attività prevalentemente nei mercati esteri, tra cui: Cina, Giappone, Russia, Sud-est Asiatico, Kazakistan, Bielorussia, Nord Europa, Stati Uniti d’America e Brasile

Da sempre concentra la propria attività prevalentemente nei mercati esteri, tra cui: Cina, Giappone, Russia, Sud-est Asiatico, Kazakistan, Bielorussia, Nord Europa, Stati Uniti d’America e Brasile

La notorietà acquisita “sul campo”, unita a solidi valori nella vita e nel lavoro, lo portano a creare importanti relazioni, a conoscere celebrità di ogni tipo e a frequentare amici ed estimatori speciali tra i quali ama ricordare: Papa Giovanni Paolo II, Diego Armando Maradona, Tom Hanks, il Presidente Cinese Xi Jinping… e molti altri.

La costante ricerca dell’eccellenza, il continuo perfezionamento di tutte le fasi produttive e l’abilità nello sperimentare lo ha portato a creare un innovativo ed unico sistema enologico (Metodo Marco Maci®), che contraddistingue ogni sua bottiglia e che gli ha fatto vincere la doppia Medaglia d’oro.
